Yucky vegetable update

Brussels sprouts and Lima beans. These two certainly are the leading ‘yucky’ vegetables I am growing this year. Despite the harsh vibe they have been receiving, the plants have been doing well.

Tonight I picked my first batch of Lima beans. The lone surviving plant from the first planting seems to have produced a large handful. Enough hopefully to see how they taste and get the family ready for the large helpings down the road.

In Brussels sprout news, I now have some baby sprouts forming. I’d like the weather to cooperate a bit more so we can also have a good first impression of these ‘yucky’ vegetables as well.
