After some work and customizations to the template generating the data, I am pleased to announce the availability of the Matt’s Garden Weather companion site. Other weather sites like Weather Underground and the default template from Cumulus put the location of the weather station on the web page. Even though most of you who read this already know where I live, I didn’t want to increase the chances of any prize winning tomatoes or always in demand Brussels sprouts going missing in the night.
I plan some additional work on changing the style of the new site as well as trying to pull out some elements and having them added to the garden blog main page, but those will have to come later. For now, the quick way to access the page and check the weather is to follow the Garden Weather tab at the top of the blog.
Enjoy the peek into the weather conditions in the garden when ever you curious (or nosy).
