Winter Update from the garden

I trudged through the snow a bit today and took a quick look in on the garden. Not much to see but six raised beds all snuggled under their blankets of snow.

So far this winter, we have accumulated the 7th snowiest winter for our area.  We get an average of 22 inches of snow a year, but this year we have over 40 inches and still counting.  Unfortunately the garden weather station doesn’t track snowfall, but temperatures so far this winter have dipped as low as -17 degrees F on January 28th.
