The long and cold winter seems to be reluctant to fully give up this year and yield to spring. While it has fortunately been able to stay above freezing, the temperatures have struggled to get above average. In spite of the cooler weather, there is still some growth in the garden. Here are how things stand as of today.
Peas are sprouted and finally starting to spread some leaves.
Onions have adjusted well to their transplant and are starting to green up and gain some height.
Spinach is looking pretty good. Perhaps better than in years past.
Finally, the early birds of the garden. The radish have gotten off to a good start as well.
