Sweet potatoes and a near-frost

The low temperature reported by the garden weather station was 29.1 degrees this morning. It ended up colder than forecast and I was a little worried this morning about what I might come home to after work. Turned out all was well and no need to worry. The closeness to the ground and nearby trees must have been enough to keep the temps up just enough for the recently planted tomatoes.

In addition to fretting over frost burnt tomatoes, I also received nine sweet potato plants from my friend at work today. Second year in a row he scores the plants before I do.
